At The Children’s House Child Care Society, we’ve been a trusted part of the Lethbridge community for generations. While our daycare program began even before our official founding, we’ve proudly operated as a non-profit society since 1976, guided by a volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to the well-being and development of children.
We offer a range of early learning and child care services, including daycare, licensed family day homes, and a registered Alberta Education Kindergarten program. Each of our programs is rooted in a deep respect for children’s individuality, curiosity, and capacity to learn through play.

Our Programs
Daycare in Lethbridge
Serving children ages 12 months to kindergarten, our daycare program offers four thoughtfully designed classrooms where children explore, create, and connect. Educators partner with families to support developmental milestones through play-based learning, guided by Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework.
Family Day Homes
Our licensed Family Day Home Program provides a nurturing, play-based home environment that focuses on an emergent curriculum grounded in child development. Our educators create safe, responsive spaces where children enjoy long periods of uninterrupted play and build meaningful relationships with their peers, families, and community.
Kindergarten
​Our private, registered Alberta Education Kindergarten program runs from September to June, offering a small class size and a play-based curriculum that meets the requirements of the Alberta kindergarten curriculum. Children engage in co-learning, community exploration, and hands-on discovery, building strong foundations for lifelong learning.
